Best known for his blog at timtopham.com, where he has been sharing resources, tips, links and repertoire ideas with piano teachers and students since 2011, Tim is a well-respected teacher, presenter, performer and accompanist based in Melbourne.
Tim is Head of Keyboard at Xavier College Melbourne, having also taught at a variety of schools in Western Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and the United Kingdom.
He holds a Bachelor of Music, a Diploma of Education and a Master of Business administration in Educational Leadership. In 2013, he obtained his AMusA (Diploma of Performance) with Distinction under the tutelage of Caroline Almonte. Tim’s other teachers include Rosemary McIndoe, Steve Sedergreen and Glenn Riddle.
Tim regularly accompanies instrumentalists for recitals and exams as well as holding an annual public recitals in Melbourne. His previous music production work can also be found on Itunes and Beatport under the alias Fourth Nation.
